Coronavirus survivors have hope coursing through their veins

Really. Their blood plasma might carry disease-resistant antibodies that could help other patients with Coronavirus who are battling for their lives.

And that’s why we’re asking members of our community who have taken on Coronavirus and won to not give up the fight quite yet.

AHN is teaming up with other health care providers in the region for the COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma Pittsburgh Project (C2P3). They’re looking for Coronavirus survivors to get screened, and if eligible, donate plasma. Just one donation contains enough antibodies to treat up to four patients — and to give hope to others in a time of crisis.

Here’s what to do. If you’ve previously tested positive for COVID-19, no longer have symptoms, and are interested in donating plasma, use the buttons below to contact the AHN C2P3 team.

A member of their donor team will get in touch to evaluate your eligibility and to walk you through the screening process. CALL – 412-858-C2P3 EMAIL – C2P3@AHN.ORG

Visit highmarkanswers.com to learn more about C2P3 and how to donate.

AHN will cover cost implications of plasma donation testing and services for any eligible donor, regardless of insurer or where you typically receive care.
